C-SPAN 2010 StudentCam Competition
StudentCam is an annual video documentary competition for middle and high school students that asks them to think critically about national issues. Students have a chance at winning a portion of $50,000 in cash prizes. Top prize-winners' entries will air on the C-SPAN Networks, and students may also be interviewed on C-SPAN's morning program, Washington

LEADAMERICA ESSAY CONTEST
Essay Guidelines: This contest invites students to write an essay of not more than 2,000 words (supplemented with a bibliography) on Historical Leadership. Using an event from the past students should write about how the leadership by a person or a group of people contributed to the development of society, and what today's leaders and citizens can learn from this. Choices Program Student Video Competition
Challenge your students to take global issues beyond the classroom.
The Choices Program invites students in grades 9-12 to create a 2-minute video detailing a global issue that matters to them and what they are doing to make a change in their school, neighborhood, or beyond. We are looking for videos that are creative, compelling, and informative. Entry period ends April 16, 2010.

Doodle 4 Google Contest
Hello Google Certified Teachers -
Doodle 4 Google is a contest where K-12 students are asked to re-design the Google logo using a theme. The national winner of the contest wins a $15,000 college scholarship, his/her school gets at $25,000 technology grant for computers, and he/she will have their doodle on the Google.com homepage for one day for millions people to see.
The contest launched on February 3, 2010 and registration is open until March 17th, with submissions due on March 31st.
